Lenovo Android Smartphone in the works

The Chinese company known as Lenovo is planning to release its first Android smartphone. They say that the specs will be able to compete with their tablet, Lenovo IdeaTab S2005 as well as other Android devices made by other companies.

It seems like it might be called Lenovo LePhone K2, but we are not 100% sure on the name as of yet. It will come with Gingerbread(Android 2.3) on it, and they say that you will be able to upgrade from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich(Android 4.0).

Said specs: Qualcomm MSM8260 dual-core processor with 1.5 GHz and 1 GB of RAM. The phone will have a 4.3-inch display, and a 8-megapixel rear end camera that can shoot up to 1080p video, and 16GB of internal memory.

So, yea, as you can see by the said specs, this phone is going to be one of the high-end phones that are the norm now in days.

It is said to be launched early 2012.
